Today we stared the Gummy Bear Lab. This activity is allowing our students practice the 6 steps of the Scientific Method. We collected all of our data today and will being graphing our results and concluding on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!!!

Observing tree stump cross sections
Today we began our first chapter of the new school year. We discussed the tsunami of 1700 and discussed how scientists dated it back to a major earthquake off the coast of the Pacific Northwest using tree stump cross sections. Here are a few pictures of student counting the annual growth rings.

Cup Challenge
Today we worked on our teamwork skills. Students had to stack a pyramid of 6 cups using only a rubber band and string. They did a fantastic job!!!
